DJ Mike Music....................Owner / Operator
Born and raised in  Baltimore, MD. Music has always inspired me
to ultimately entertain and perform for many people. The sole
purpose for starting Strictly Mobile was to give the customer that
professional sounding music service. I take great pleasure to make
sure that each selection is played with digital quality. Only the
finest selections of music remains in our explosive library. Music
is currently being added to our catalog on a weekly basis depending
on listener preferences. Only the best pro sound equipment is used
by Strictly Mobile Pro DJ Service. I believe that " I you start with
the best, you will end with the best."
My interest to become a deejay started in the summer of 1985.
A neighborhood friend named DJ Redds had introduced me to the
art of turntablism. Basically that means he showed me how to
scratch records on his mother's home component set. The type
of system that had a record player on one side, a TV in the middle
and an eight track in the corner. Later, we had progressed to the
single belt drive turntables made by Technics. We started playing
music every weekend at basement parties. Then we progressed
to playing at block parties while gaining local recognition. Since
then, I ventured out on my own after purchasing my first set of
Technics 1200s ( European Models) in 1986. Then I met a DJ
by the name of Vicious V. through another mutual friend by the
name of McNutt. Soon after that, I began playing music in a
numerous amount of night clubs as well as starting to play music
for small weddings. I played music for the first time around 1987
for James West Jr. as he married girlfriend Marleen. After much
recognition for performing extremely well, my deejay career had
taken off with record numbers of bookings. Since then, Strictly
Mobile Professional DJ Service was born.
Al Davis....................................Equipt. tech
Al has been a friend since 1987, back when I first bought my first
set of Technics turntables. He was there when the house party era
has taken over much of the 80's. Al  helped with equipment set-up
back then and never asked to be compensated for his time. I believe
he had this uncanny love for the music that people enjoyed weekly.
I remember performing at area talent shows and local events, with
Al right there by my side. He tried his hand at deejaying, but Al
was more the business type of guy. With a degree in business from
Strayer Business College, he pursued his place in the corporate
world as a prosperous entrepreneur. His marketing skills are truly
impressive. This guy can take a regular value meal and turn it to
a super sized family deal. Trustworthy and honest are an under
statement to describe Al's personality. Good to have him on board.
